What Services can we offer you?

Depending on what stage of problems you are having with your dpf, Diesel particulate filter, DPF Cleaning.com can offer you many methods for dpf cleaning, dpf removal and dpf delete.

1st Stage warnings

This is when a dpf light pops up on your dash board. The light being on is just to show you that the dpf has started to get past a certain point of being full. This is set to different percentages or pressures by manufactures and in most cases is nothing to worry about as it will turn off once a successful regeneration has been performed. You will start to run into problems when a failed regeneration has taken place which is explained below. To aid in successful regeneration DPF Cleaning.com offers you a fuel additive which once added to the fuel tank can last up 2000 miles. The fuel additive works by turning into a solid after combustion has taken place and then it gets caught in the dpf cells awaiting to be heated back up causing a self clean of the dpf. This product is ideal for start stop journeys were the temperature needed for regeneration cant be achieved, this is usually about 650°C, the regeneration aid reacts with the heat at 450°C which is easier to achieve. You can buy this product direct from us.

DPF Cleaning.com also offers you a dpf cleaner which is added to the fuel tank once a year (10000 miles) to clean out the dpf, diesel particulate filter.

Firstly, it uses a catalyst to bond with the soot particles during combustion, lowering the temperature at which they can be burnt off inside the diesel particulate filter, dpf.
Secondly , the additive also increases the fuel burn temperature, in turn increasing the exhaust temperature , which increases the temperature inside the dpf ,burning off the soot and regenerating the filter.

Car in limp home mode with dpf light on the dash

The pressure sensor linked to the cars ecu has now detected that the dpf is now over a safe working pressure and will put the car into "limp home" mode by reducing the engine power and revs in a bid to reduce back pressure stopping any internal damage to the engine. Normally once you have reached this stage the main dealer will try and force a regeneration to try and clean the dpf out as several failed regenerations may have taken place. If the forced regeneration doesn't work then up until now all you could do was get it replaced by the main dealer at varying expensive costs.

DPF Cleaning.com offers you a new dpf cleaning service which doesn't involve jet washing, flushing out using solvents or petrol.  We have designed a specific cleaning service for both the dpf and cars engine to restore lost power and save you money on the cost of a new dpf. This cleaning service is ideal for cars made after 2008, as new mot and manufacture warranty is effected by the removal! For more details on our dpf cleaning service please follow this link...

If the cleaning service is not of interest to you or your car was manufactured before 2008 then DPF Cleaning.com can offer a full dpf delete from the cars on-board computer or aka ecu, please follow this link for more details on dpf delete. We also offer a dpf removal from the exhaust system by replacing the dpf with a new section of exhaust pipe work or cut out the existing dpf, for more details on dpf removal please follow this link....

The most common reason for blocked dpf's are normally down to faulty components or driving style. Other factors involved could be;

Longer service intervals, less often oil changes.

Faulty EGR Valve

Split turbo / intercooler hose's

Faulty MAF Sensor

Faulty Turbo

Faulty ECU

to name a few.

If you are experiencing dpf problems, seek advice sooner rather than later as it could cost you ££££'s.
